Residents from Holbrook, Randolph and Braintree are coming together to resist and challenge the proposed Holbrook regional solid waste transfer station. We have engaged the Toxics Action Center Organization of Boston to help us. We have also established a leadership team of Braintree, Randolph and Holbrook leaders. Together we can stop this. Bottom line: Act now or we will live with it. |
The Town of Holbrook has entered into a lease for a proposed regional solid waste transfer station on a town owned site at the intersection of 3 Phillips Road and Route 139 – on the Holbrook/Randolph/Braintree town lines.
- Large Trucks hauling waste and trash along Route 37 and Route 139 corridors.
- Children at increased risk at bus stops along all routes
- Harmful air pollution from diesel fuel exhaust
- Trucks and dumpsters leaking waste on our roads
- Residential property values will drop even more
Please contact Braintree Town Councilor Dan Clifford or Mike Barbuto for more information.
